Powerful yet Fuel-efficient Engine
The new M6040SU’s V2403-DI-TE2 engine employs a powerful yet fuel-efficient 4-valve center direct injection system with turbo charger, boasting 59HP of net power and a high PTO power of 52HP for all the strength you need in the low rpm ranges to perform heavy-duty tasks and during operations that require heavy traction. And because it’s a low-emission engine, it is great for your productivity, profits and the enviroment as well.

Partially Synchronized Transmission with Synchronized Shuttle
The M6040SU is equipped with a F8/R4 partially synchronized main transmission to increase travel efficiency. The range shift level can act as a synchronized shuttle transmission between forward (low range) and reverse to make stop-and-go work more efficient.

Kubota’s Original Four-wheel Drive
Work efficiency is increased for paddy field, dry field and other tough jobs with Kubota’s bevel gear type 4WD system by providing equal pulling power at all steering angles as well as a shorter turning radius. The bevel gears are completely sealed, only requiring routine maintenance.

Hydraulic Independent PTO
The live-independent 540rpm PTO with wet-type clutch expands the use of the M6040SU to include rear-mounted PTO-driven implements such as a rotary tiller.
